Fifty Shades of Grey Book Review and Reaction

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I heard about the book from Twitter. Er, I haven't really paid attention to it, a bestseller at the National book Store. And then I saw my bestfriend professing in Facebook that she's reading it and I almost cursed her but in the end, I thought, maybe, I'll give it a try. I had the E-book. All i need is  temptation. One night, I was preparing for a Final exam in one of my subjects, I was tempted and yes, it was at night.

I finished the entire story because of the heat of the moment. I was totally hooked into it. Who wouldn't? It depicts every human beings'  humane desires. Because all of us are hypocrites to say that we don't like porn movies or porn books or porn magazines but deep inside to our very core, we enjoy every bit of it. All we need is just a little temptation.

FINALLY, I've finished it. Because once you had the first book, you'll always yearn for more because we're all like them, we're all like Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, we find pleasure and happiness with what we are created to do, to make sex, although, that wasn't the term used in the books by EL James, I don't wanna use his terms. It's just so not me. When I was halfway through the second book, I decided myself that I needed to stop or I could just live a life like them. Ugh! I don't want that. >.<

So, what I did is I deleted every single bit of Fifty Shades from my laptop and from my phone because I feel I was doing the wrong thing. Damn, I shouldn't have read that.

From the looks of it, it really is a fan fiction because in every aspect of it, it pleases the readers. That's what you aim for when you're doing a fan fiction. You need readers and so, you need to go by the quote, 'The customer is always right.' So, here it is, a fan fiction for Twilight by EL James.

This is a review I made for Goodreads but I just wanted to share it here too. :)

Well, we may all have different opinions about this book, I am actually contradicting my very bestfriend but we are both entitled to our own beliefs.  Yeah?

Endless Love Autumn in my Heart

Hi there ya'll!

Okay, first of all, I ended up having this idea because I am such a K-drama addict. I love almost all the genre. I somehow know some of Korean actors and actresses because of my obsession.

Endless Love Autumn in my Heart (since it's the very first K-drama I've watched)

Synopsis
For fourteen years, Jun-suh and Eun-suh are raised together in a family until they discover that Eun-suh was switched at birth with his real sister, Shin-ae. Upon learning about the mix up, Eun-suh and Shin-ae are both returned to their respective families. It was a tragic riches-to-rags transformation for Eun-suh. Jun-suh's family then decides to leave for the United States. While both of the siblings' mothers agree that Eun-sih should go with them as well, she decides to stay with her real mother. Their family is so poor that they could not afford to send her to college.

After nine years, Jun-suh's family returns to Korea. He is engaged to Yumi, but still i search of his long lost sister. Meanwhile, his best friend Tae-seok falls in love with Eun-suh, Jun-suh and Eun-suh are eventually reunited, but trouble starts when they cannot avoid their true and endless love for each other.

Addicted to Goodreads

Oh yes.

Have you ever come across a site that you cannot get away from? Like from the start of your very day up to the end of it, you're still browsing the page? Downloading and reading and writing? I am such a geek when it comes to writing. I love it as much as I love collecting papers, yes, I'm a paper lover. My friends would say, "You buy them but you refuse to write on it." It's something of a personal satisfaction whenever I've got myself a new design of a notebook or a sticky note or anything that I can write into. Maybe, it's my personal satisfaction to collect papers. Others would find it from collecting robots or from collecting pens, or from someone they love or from a food. Everybody's different. My other interest would be in books. I love collecting books and of course, reading them. Reading, I wouldn't say, all the time. I can read whenever I'm in the mood but if I'm not, no one could ever force me to do it. I have a fair share of favorite books like Harry Potter series, Twilight series, Hunger Games trilogy, My Sister's Keeper, The Notebook, Dear John, The Alchemist, The Winner Takes It All, The Golden Acre, Time Traveller's Wife and a lot more. I love romantic novels but most of the time, I stick to what's "uso". If many people reads this book, then you'll find me looking for it in the nearest bookstore.

Currently reading the last book of Hunger Games. I have enjoyed the first two, I hope this will give me the same feeling. :))

Trip to Bacoor Post Office

In order to get a postal ID from your municipality, you should prepare for the following;

*3 copies of colored 2x2 picture with white background
*cedula for 10 pesos from COMELEC
*Barangay Clearance from your barangay hall for 30 pesos
*Photocopy of birth certificate but they also need to see the original one
*Application form for 2 pesos I heard but in Bacoor Post Office's case. They're the most lazy people in the whole wide world, that's why they couldn't even keep a copy of it and you'll need to photocopy it yourself, just make sure, you'll be having two copies or more, or else, you'll be coming back and forth to the xerox machine. Tsk! They're evil right? EVIL people.

After that, you'll need to pay 325 pesos for processing of, wait, today is Thursday and then I'll be able to have it on Monday, so four days all in all. Based from internet informations, you could see that Bacoor Post Office charges the most, some would ask for 290 pesos, others for 100 plus only, others are 300. And they'll be processing it the same day, or the other day or for three days. Bacoor Post Office is the most corrupt of all. Huh! I can't believe it. Sue me for this, yes, you can. But everybody will know what you are doing to people.

Now, moving on, I shouldn't be forgetting the accomodation I got from you guys, you guys from Bacoor Postal Office.

The one that you'll see as you enter the office of the girls, that one was the nicest of all, the true epitome of hospitality from Filipinos that they say, we all have. But that was a lie. The one who accomodates for the postal ID, I will say is a little strict, she's old though. But the one who answers the questions of the customers at the window is the most non-accomodating, non-hospitable and evilest of them all. Yesterday, I went to their office and asked that same person if I could submit my postal ID requirements but she said, they don't have it that day. SO, why are they open anyways? To do chismis inside? She told me to go back tomorrow, which is today. I ask her how long will it take for the ID to be finished and she exactly said, it'll be available the other day. What happened to her words?

I told them, "Galing po kasi ako dito kahapon, sabi nyo po kinabukasan pwede na." And then I pouted, I said it with all due respect because they're older than I am after all. I am a good person and I have my manners, I learned it from school. She responded to me in such a harsh way, "Wala na ngang ID eh." And I hate that I couldn't even snapped back at her because I know my manners and I don't to create a fight.

I am just so disappointed with the public servants, I am not talking about politicians because they're a different part of the story, I am talking about people who works at the government who's salary comes from the taxes collected from the private people, from the regular people. Public servants who supposed to be the models of hospitality and respect to the laymen are those who think of themselves as the BIG ONES, who they are not. I am currently working as an intern student and I have applied for a lot of companies and I can conclude that they knew how to talk right to people, they may be customers or applicants. I just hope, one day, these people from the government especially post offices, COMELECs, Barangay Halls and City Halls would be able to learn how to talk with respect.

Amkor Technology Examination

Today is January 19, 2012. New year. New life. New possibilities. This is my very first post this year of the dragon.

Last Tuesday, I took an OJT entrance examination from Amkor Technology P1 located at Sucat Highway, Muntinlupa. It's a long exam with a lot of time pressure but I am very confident that I'll be able to ace it with my skills. And I actually did. All thanks to God who I know guided me all the way through. After the examination, I had my initial interview with a Human Resource staff of the company. She asked me a couple of questions like, what's your strengths and weaknesses, describe yourself, what is your attitude towards your colleagues, define honesty, the usual ones I will say that you could possibly find from internet websites. After that, the other staff who's taking her OJT from that company as well, ushered me to a different building wherein possible supervisors for interns like me are located. Before entering the place, the guard gave us a shoe plastic to protect our feet from possible chemicals, I guess that could most likely damage or irritate our skin. It's quite fun actually.

I had my technical interview with my supervisor, I am sure, I saw Jon Sendido from his cubicle but in his signature, it's JSupe. Reason why, I am not sure what's exactly his name. The supposed to be technical interview turned out to be a chit chat about my school, my residence, the languages of Koreans, Japanese and other countries that Amkor deals with and my menstrual cycle. At first, I couldn't really understand why he needed to know anything about it but then I was enlightened when he finally explained it to me. Other girl interns like me would refuse to work on their menstruation days because they suffer from dysmenorrhea. I told him that I do not suffer from it this past few months but I had it before. It's not that hurtful these days. And tadaaaa! The staff from Human Resource came back for me and gave me the requirements to be submitted on Friday. I can start work on Tuesday. Yay! :)
